Grand Canyon

The wonders of the Grand Canyon cannot be adequately represented in symbols of speech, nor by speech itself. The resources of the graphic art are taxed beyond their powers in attempting to portray its features.  Language and illustration combined must fail.

Thank you!

Almost three weeks ago I crashed while riding my bike.  Not quite sure what happened.  I think I had a momentary lapse in focus, followed by the realization that I was coming into a gravel-littered curve in the road a bit faster than I preferred

Oh, la pluie!

Generally, the weather here in southern France is spectacular!  It's sunny and warm and wonderful.  But, every so often, you get a little reminder to appreciate those fabulous days.  I got a good one on Sunday.

Wow! What a week! Got married AND won Ironman! Can you say, "Honeymoon in Kona?!" Tim and I secretly planned our wedding for just over a year. Before Friday morning, the only people that knew were me, Tim, the Justice of the Peace, the lady that issued the marriage license, two guys getting fishing licenses at the same time, and Heather Fuhr

What an ordeal, glad you are on the mend and that it was not worse, but how frustrating that an inattentive rider in a pack would be the cause. I took one of those sleepers to/from Boston and it is unbelievably tiny and I was also not a fan of the "private loo"! Rest up and recover!
